Hollywood stars go gaga over Obama's presidential success
Hollywood starts closely watched the presidential election between Barack Obama and Mitt Romney and took to social networking site to stamp their approval of the Democrat's victory.
Beyonce, one of the president's most prominent supporters, put on hooped Obama earrings and defiantly posted "Take that Mitches" on her popular Tumblr.
Eva Longoria, who has been deployed by the Obama camp in several battle-ground states, posted on her Who Say account: "Me and my friends celebrating! I'm on tears! Moving the country forward!!! Obama!!!"
"The people have the power! Proud to stand by you for 4 more years. RT @BarackObama This happened because of you. Thank you," Katy Perry tweeted.
"Glee" star and openly gay Chris Colfer was equally thrilled.
"All ages, genders, ethnicities, and orientations dancing badly TOGETHER on TV! THATS America! Wouldn't see that 50 years ago. #USAProgress" he wrote.
According to the New York Post, Lady Gaga posted a photo of herself and her pals who "just couldn't be happier my goodness, the joy when freedom prevails"
Cher, in all caps, tweeted: "OMG ! IM SO HAPPY ! THIS IS ONE OF THE GREAT NITES OF MY LIFE !!!! TEARS R STREAMING DOWN MY FACE ! WOMEN WE HAVE A CHAMPION !!!" Lady Gaga posted.
Kim Kardashian, who's currently on a London media blitz, was also in on the election buzz: "Just landed! anxiously awaiting to see who the next president would be! Heard the good news!!!! Congrats President Obama!!!!"
Meanwhile, her estranged hubby Kris Humphries tweeted about his non-credible source: "My cab driver told me Romney won. Can I trust this?" ...hate to break it to ya.
