Michelle Obama, who is no stranger to recycling outfits, opted for a Michael Kors dress she had worn twice before for her husband's victory on Tuesday night.

The First Lady paired the dress with a black cardigan - her other fashion staple.

"Kors is pleased to announce that the First Lady, Michelle Obama, wore a Michael Kors magenta silk chine pintucked dress," ABC News quoted the designer as saying in a press release.

According to People magazine, source said that the lawyer chose the dress because "she was so busy with the campaign and their kids that she had no time to think about an outfit and decided at the last minute."

"She was so busy with the campaign and their kids that she had no time to think about an outfit and decided at the last minute," the source said.

According to USA Today the outfit Michelle had previously worn the outfit during a Medal of Honor ceremony in Washington and in 2009, without sweater, for a dressier look.
