Panaji, Apr 23 : A dance concert for a cause, asking people to say 'no to drugs', 'stop terrorism' and to promote 'world peace' will be held at Ravindra Bhavan in Margao city on April 28.
Two young Ukraine dancers-- Kateryna and Zhenya, who had performed in some Bollywood films besides entertaining the art lovers in Goa for the last few years, would dance to the tunes of Konkani music for the first time in their life.
The event will be organised by Goa's emerging young pop star Olavo Rodrigues in collaboration with a dozen dancers and singers including the two lean and lanky Uktaine belles to enthrall the audience, represented by Chief Minister Digambar Kamat.
The two hour show, according to Rodrigues here today, will spread the message against the menace of drugs rampant in the state besides the dangers of terrorism while promoting the need for world peace.
Besides Konkani, the songs will be sung in Hindi and English also, particularly aimed at the Goans, he added.
