J.K. Shah, executive director (public grievances) in the railway ministry, in a complaint at the Parliament Street police station here Wednesday said the news channel continuously flashed the minister's mobile number with the "intention of disrupting her functioning".
Banerjee's number was flashed in a programme telecast on the channel Tuesday.
"The complaint was filed against a Bengali channel for flashing her number. The complaint says this has disrupted her functioning. The channel allegedly flashed Mamata's number more than a few times," said a police officer.
"We are trying to get the TV tapes for the part where the number was flashed," the officer added.
