Islamabad, Mar 21: At least seven militants were killed by security forces in Pakistan's upper Orakzai on Sunday, DawnNews reported.
According to the report, security forces targeted suspected hideouts Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and the troops claimed to have destroyed at least three militant hideouts.
On Saturday, at least ten militants were killed and three TTP hideouts were demolished in the same area.
Thirteen TTP militants were killed and several others injured in air strikes in different parts of Orakzai agency on Friday when military planes destroyed six TTP hideouts in the area.
In Upper Orakzai agency, TTP hideouts in Zakhtan, Kasha, Sra Mela and Nare Suka were attacked, while Utman Khel in Lower Orakzaialso came under attack.
Three hideouts were destroyed and five militants killed in the strikes in Upper Orakzai agency, whereas three hideouts were demolished and eight militants were killed in the other area.
