Show delayed; honeymoon on for Romit

March 20, 2010 : Whatever happens; happens for the best. No one can vouch for this more than Romit Raj. First he was all set to marry fellow actress Shilpa Shinde but the wedding was called off at the eleventh hour.

The actor soon found true love in Radio One executive Tina Kakkar. The duo is all set to tie the knot on March 28 in Pune. Adding to this bliss is the fact that his upcoming show Thoda hai thode ki zaroorat has got further delayed. As a result, Raj can plan for a nice honeymoon.

"Tina is so sweet that she was pretty cool when we couldn't have the honeymoon earlier. My show has got further delayed and it's now likely to launch in mid April. This proved to be a blessing in disguise as I can now plan for a honeymoon. We're both very excited and looking forward to the D-day," said Raj.

So, where does this couple plan to honeymoon?

"It's been a day since I've come to know about my show's status. Presently, most of my time is occupied in organising the pre wedding functions. So, we haven't given a thought about the venue for honeymoon. It is going to be a big fat Punjabi wedding with drums and topey (canon shots) bhi chalegi). Just kiddng, there won't be any canon shots," replied Raj.

We don't want to play any spoilsport but one couldn't help asking Raj whether he has invited ex-flame Shilpa Shinde for the wedding. The groom-to-be chose to remain silent on this one. Similarly, Shinde too didn't respond to our call.
