Emma Watson bows to standing ovation for debut university performance

London, March 18 : Harry Potter actress Emma Watson was said to have received a standing ovation with her performance role in a student play, her first at Brown University in Rhode Island.

The 19-year-old reportedly drew a full house as she portrayed Olga Sergeyevna Prozorova in an adaptation of Anton Chekhov''s Three Sisters.

"Emma was nervous beforehand but was faultless in her role. She has been juggling coursework with rehearsals and learning lines so she''s had a lot on her plate," the Daily Star quoted a source as telling The Sun.

"Emma was over the moon that every show was a full house. She also made some new friends while doing it," the source added.

Watson was named Hollywood's highest paid female star of 2009 in a list compiled by Vanity Fair magazine.
