March 16, 2010 : Neha Janpandit, who played the lead in Star Plus show Shraddha, has now adopted a cautious approach towards work. The pretty actress is biding her time and is in no hurry to take any role that comes her way.
"I have received many offers but none appealed to me. I wanted to do a character which is a replica of the one I played in Shraddha. I don't want to be part of existing shows where I'm asked to replace a particular character amidst the twist and turns in the track. Recently, Maat Pitaah Ke Charno Mein- Swarg needed a replacement for their character Suhani. I was their first choice but I flatly refused the offer as I wasn't comfortable fitting into other's shoe," said Janpandit.
Adding further she says, "If ever I work in any serial, I will see to it that it has to be a new character. If there are no such offers than I'll try my hands at dance reality shows. I'm a classical dancer and would like to show my skills to the viewers."
Neha, we respect you thought but remember time and tide waits for no man and definitely not for a woman.
