"Two PLGA (People's Liberation Guerrilla Army) members were arrested from Jhargram sub-division in a joint forces' operation. One of them is Parameswar Mahato. The identity of the other person is yet to be known," West Midnapore Superintendent of Police Manoj Verma told IANS over phone.
He said at least 20 people were also detained at Chandra village in the same district.
"We suspect at least six of them are active Maoists. One of them suffered a bullet injury in a gun battle a few months ago," Verma said.
