Mumbai, Mar 14: After Saurav Ganguly, Mumbai Indians (MI) skipper Sachin Tendulkar has been fined for slow over rate in the ongoing Indian Premier Match (IPL), TV reports said.
Sachin's ban concerned the match against Rajasthan Royals (RR) in Mumbai's Brabourne Stadium on Saturday, which MI won by four runs.
The fine amounts to USD 20,000.
Earlier, Ganguly was fined the same amount for his side slow over rate during the first match of IPL 3. In that match, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) beat Deccan Chargers (DC).
In the last edition of the IPL, while DC won the championship, KKR had ended at the bottom of the table.
