March 10, 2010 : P. Vasu's recent release 'Aaptha Rakshaka' has witnessed an unexpected triumph at box office. Since, it happens to be the last film of late actor Dr. Vishnuvardhan; his ardent buffs have been repeatedly watching the film.
It's worth mentioning that a black ticket was sold out for Rs.3000/- on the day of release.
Meanwhile, there has been much buzz about P. Vasu remaking the film in Tamil with Superstar Rajnikanth taking on the lead role. As of late, Sameera Reddy was reported to be pairing with Rajnikanth in this remake version.
But now, the closer sources of Rajnikanth have revealed that nothing has been confirmed about the remake as the actor is completely involved in the making of 'Endhiran'.
