"Good for WB, but politically biased'

New Delhi, Feb 24 : Communist Party of India (CPI) leader Gurudas Dasgupta said the Railway Budget presented by Mamata Banerjee was good for West Bengal but was politically biased ahead of next year's state elections.

"I am happy there are many projects for Bengal. But the budget is politically biased and made with an eye on the assembly polls in West Bengal next year," said Dasgupta, who hails from the state.

Walking the expected path, Railway Minister Mamata Banerjee on Wednesday presented a populist rail budget showering West Bengal with projects and trains keeping an eye on the 2011 state elections.
