Kolkata, Feb 19 : DESUN Hospital and Heart Institute will invest Rs 150 crore in Kolkata for setting up a state-of-the-art hospital, said a top official here.
"We expect to set up a hospital in Kolkata investing Rs. 150 crores and has plans to invest another Rs. 100 crores in Siliguri, for both of which land has already been acquired," said Sajal Dutta, Chairman and Managing Director, DESUN Hospital.
The hospital organized a Live Cardiac Workshop here where Angiography and Angioplasty of critical cases, which were not been performed earlier in Kolkata, were telecast live.
"The concept behind the live cardiac workshop was to create awareness about how easily and speedily cardiac problems can be treated at the hospital and also to make the progress in interventional cardiac science known to everyone," Dutta said.
Dr. M.S. Hiramath, Head Interventional Cardiologist, Heart Care Clinic, Pune was present to perform and communicate the workshop at the advanced Cardiac Catheterization lab of DESUN Hospital.
