Former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly was surprised with the inclusion of Yuvraj Singh in the squad for the Twenty20 World Cup.
"It is good to see Yuvraj back in squad but I hope he sustains his recovery and perform well," said Ganguly adding that he is little apprehensive about his fitness.
Yuvraj, who has recovered from a rare germ cell cancer, started training only in June.
Ganguly was unhappy with the Test squad for the New Zealand series, starting from August 23.
"It is the same team that lost badly in Australia," he said.
Spinner Ravichandran Ashwin also hailed Yuvraj's return to the squad.
"I am what I am because of Yuvraj. He has helped me a lot. I am happy to see him back in the team," he said.
