The idea to use the song in the film was put forth by Abhay himself. His character in the film is that of a young man, who hates it that his father owns an oil company and runs away from home due to which he has to face a lot of problems. Eventually, he returns home to take care of it.

The song was chosen as it will appeal to people from all generations. The song connects with the film's parts very well as it is about Abhay's journey to find joy.
