Indian Idol 5: Shreya Ghoshal, Loy judges, Abhijit Sawant host?

The show that has time and again swept the nation into a flurry ever since its first season is touted to be back on Sony after the IPL (Indian Premier League) fever subsides.

Reportedly, a few musical geniuses have been approached to be a judge on the show, Anu Malik being the all time favorite judge is said to be on-board. Now according to media reports, Loy Mendonca of the famous music director trio of Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy has been approached to be one of the three judges on show.

The makers of the show are also trying to rope in singer Shreya Ghoshal to accompany Anu Malik and Loy on the judge's seat. It is said that Shreya is eager to join the show provided she gets the go ahead by Star Plus as she is presently engaged with its show 'Music Ka Maha Muqabla'.

While Shreya and Loy are tipped to judge the show, Indian Idol season one winner Abhijit Sawant and runner up Prajakta Shukre are in talks to host the show.

Apparently, the mini auditions that are to take place in various cities of the country will have many celebrities judging the contestants. So get ready to join another wonderful journey of tomorrow's singing star.
