NABARD sanctions SDP for SHGs

The training will be conducted by AAS at Maro, Baririjo and Tapi villages under Dumporijo Block of Upper Subansiri district.
The programme is slated to support 75 selected educated unemployed youths and SHG members from Dumporijo area for bee-keeping and mushroom activities.
Officials from the district like BDO, Deputy Director DIC, Extension Officer (Industries), Extension Officer (Credit), PD DRDA and banks will be involved at various stages of implementing the programme.
AAS has signed an MOU with Mushroom Foundation of Guwahati for buyback arrangements of the products to be produced by the trainees during the training.
The agency will provide escort services to the trainees in preparation of their projects for availing bank credit. It will liaise with banks, government departments and other agencies for various assistance.
