Talking to newsmen here today, Mr Kharge cited that the prices of essential commodities had come down in Delhi as both the governments worked jointly to check the hikig prices.
He suggested the state government to curb block marketing of commodities and confiscate the hoarding of pulses.
''Criticising the Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa for not attending the Chief Ministers conference, convened by the Prime Minister which was held in Delhi recently, he said when the Chief Minister did not attend the conference, how could he apprise the state's problems to the Prime Minister.
Tallking a DIG at the BJP led State Government in the state, he alleged that the Government had failed in all fronts in developing various key sectors including agriculture.
'' The growth of agriculture produce in Haryana is 20 per cent in Punjab 14 per cent. But in karnataka is 'Zero' he pointed out.
Referring the severe power shortage in the state, Mr Kharge said that a 500 Mw power station was at Kudithini in Bellary distraict which was recently inaugurated by Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa, was actually started by the then congress Chief Minister S M Krishna during the last three years no new power station had been started, he regretted.
The Chief Minister was wasting time in allegations and counter allegations with former Prime Minister and JD (S) National President H D Deve Gowda. The State had even failed to utilize the funds granted by the centree, the Union Minister blamed.
