Minister asks Kannada industry to buck up

Recently, Karnataka Information Minister Katta Subramanya Naidu questioned the quality of films.

He stated, in the presence of the President of the Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce, Dr. Jayamala, that the filmmakers are not producing good films.

The government has provided every resource that the Kannada film industry asked for but only 15 percent of the total films produced are hits. According to the Information Minister, it was time things took a turn for the better.
