CricketMentor.tv launched in Chennai

Chennai, Feb 14 : India's first cricket mentoring web portal, 'CricketMentor.tv' was launched here on Monday with a promise of providing an online platform for interaction between players, coaches and others associated with the sporting community.

The site offers e-learning capabilities to players, coaches, and institutions to effectively govern, manage, analyze and report development and goal achievement for individuals and team as a whole.

The platform will enable the players to upload their videos and get them analysed by their coach from any part of the world.

A unique feature of the site lies in the fact that the players will be provided a channel through which they can share their cricketing videos with their friends, officials said.

Noted personalities from the world of cricket like T.A.Sekhar, L. Sivarama Krishnan, former Indian cricket team coach John Wright were present at the event.

The website was launched by SportsMechanics, the current performance analyst of Indian cricket, squash and volleyball team.
