Karadi Tales announces story contest

Kolkata, Jan 20 : Karadi Tales, a leading producer of children's audiobooks, has announced a story writing contest- 'Will You Write With Me?'

"It's time for Indian kids to read Indian stories by Indian writers," said Shobha Viswanath, publishing director of Karadi Tales, 'And it's up to publishers to encourage more Indians to write for children."

"This contest is intended to encourage everyone - youngsters and adults alike - to think out of the box and use their imagination to write a story. We at Karadi Tales are convinced that India is full of talented writers and we want to provide them the platform to write with us," she added.

Contestants can read first half of a story Karadi Tales official website and then complete the story in less than 800 words, and email it to Karadi Tales.

The three best entries will be published in an audiobook narrated by Jaaved Jaaferi.

The winners will be awarded a publishing contract with Karadi.
