Perry to get 4 million dollars to promote acne cream

London, Jan 14 : Singer Katy Perry has signed a 4 million dollars contract to be the face of Proactiv acne cream, which involves telling all on her battle with teenage spots.

Perry will share her acne secrets this month in a series of TV ads to be shown in 58 countries, reported thesun.co.uk

"I got acne at the start of my career. It was stressful. I have acne scars which I'm self-conscious about," said Perry, who recently got engaged to comic actor Russell Brand.

Singer Jessica Simpson and actress Jennifer Love Hewitt have previously endorsed the company's products.
