Srinagar, Sept 15 : About twenty-five people, half of them security men, were injured in Kashmir valley where demonstrators set fire on a municipal post and damaged a 'patwar khana' overnight even as the indefinite curfew continued for the fourth day on Wednesday in major parts of Kashmir Valley.

Police said 25 people, including 12 Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and police personnel, were injured in separate clashes since Tuesday evening. The demonstrators set fire on a 'patwar khana' at Sopore in Baramulla district. However, timely action by the police and fire brigade doused the flames saving the building and paper documents.

Curfew imposed on September 12 from 0500 am after violent separatist protesters set on fire Power Development Department (PDD) and Crime Branch headquarters in Srinagar on Eid-ul-Fitr day on September 11. Since then, about 17 people, including a police constable, were killed and some 200 others, half of them security men, injured in Srinagar.
