Road accident in Rajasthan leaves 17 people dead

Jaipur, Mar 3 : Seventeen people died in a jeep-truck collision in Rajasthan's Hanumangarh district on Friday, according to media reports.

The accident took place in Hanumangarh town police station area on Rawatsar-Hanumangarh mega highway, reports said.

The injured have been taken to a local hospital.

Those killed or injured were travelling in an overcrowded jeep, reported local media.
