Shahid Kapoor donates stuff from Paathshala

With choreographer-turned-producer Ahmed Khan's Paathshala's shooting complete, the props used for the film's shooting are still in use.

The props, used in Paathshala- notebooks, benches, school bags, and stationery- have been donated to three disadvantaged schools teaching underprivileged children.

The film is directed by Milind Ukey, film stars Shahid Kapoor, Ayesha Takia and Nana Patekar. The story deals with current and socially significant issues regarding children's education.

Ahmed Khan had erected a massive Film City set of a school with classrooms, staff rooms, huge corridors, dormitories, the principal's cabin, assembly hall, music room, a basket ball court, garden, and canteen.

Several of the wooden benches, uniforms, duffel bags, stationery and books used for the film were donated as they were among basics required by school students with the thought that underprivileged kids could really use these items.

After the shooting, Shahid and Ahmed decided to donate all these basic school utility items to the underprivileged kids studying in schools.
