Washington D.C. [USA], Jan. 7 : 'La La Land', 'Manchester by the Sea' and 'Lion' are among the Hollywood movies of 2016 that won two awards each at the Australian Academy of Cinema Television Arts International Awards (AACTA).
'La La Land' won the best film and Emma Stone was named best actress for the classic movie musical.
Whereas, Casey Affleck was awarded as best actor for his movie 'Manchester by the Sea', including film's writer-director Kenneth Lonergan for best screenplay.
The awards were held at the Avalon Hollywood, which was attended by many celebrities including Mel Gibson, Nicole Kidman, Dev Patel, Luke Hemsworth, Kenneth Lonergan, Harvey Weinstein, Sacha Baron Cohen and Joel Edgerton, reports Deadline.
The top honour went - at this point unsurprisingly - to 'La La Land', which took home the AACTA International Award for Best Film.
Mel Gibson meanwhile took the award for best direction for his WWII-era biopic Hacksaw Ridge.
