32 children discharged from hospital

Indore, Dec 30: Thirty two of the 42 children of 'AIM for Seva' student homes who had fallen ill in Indore district of Madhya Pradesh early Wednesday and were admitted to a hospital here have been discharged, hospital sources said.

"Children, most of them aged between 10 to 14 years, were suffering from cough and cold. Some of them suddenly started vomiting in the morning and were brought to the hospital. They were given first aid and kept under observation," Salil Bhargava, Superintendent of Maharaja Yashwantrao Hospital told IANS.

"Later 32 of the total 42 children admitted to the hospital were discharged while the remaining 10 are still undergoing treatment as they are found to be suffering from viral fever. There is nothing to worry about," he added.

AIM for Seva is a charitable trust that is running student homes in Indore. It provides complete care to children from the lesser privileged families in the tribal and rural areas.
