Two-day LIC Agents Conference on Dec 27 and 28
Mangalore, Dec 24 : The second Karnataka State LIC Agents Organization of India (LICAOI) Conference will be held here on December 27 and 28.
Briefing at a press conference here Mr M Devadas, Executive President of the Organization said that over 1000 LIC agents will participate in the conference which will take up several issues concerned with the problems faced by the LIC agents including unilateral changes made by the LIC Board in the Agent's Club rules and on Swaroop Committee Report.
He said that the organization will strongly oppose any move by the government to cut down the number of agents and their facilities.
The organization will strongly demand for reconsider the new agent club rules, withdrawal of the circular insisting agents to bring business of one lakh premium and withdrawal of restriction on bonus commission.
He said that the conference will be inaugurated by Mr. Basudev Acharya, MP and All India President of LICAOI, presided by F S Sindagi, state unit president of LICAOI.
