Gangtok, Jul 12 : MTS, the CDMA mobile services brand of Sistema Shyam Teleservices (SSTL), is all set to expand its network in the interiors of Sikkim with quality network services.
''We are proud to have been able to reach out to five million Indians already covering 10,000 towns and villages in the country, including in West Bengal, through our products and services,'' Keshav Tiwary, Chief Operating Officer (COO) of West Bengal and Kolkata circle, said at a press conference in Gangtok yesterday.
To mark the milestone achievement, MTS is offering 'unlimited blazer' to the new and existing customers of its mobile broadband service Mblaze, Mr Tiwary further said. The company also plans to introduce smart phones for its customers this month.
VK Cherian, Director of Corporate Communications, said MTS is continuously expanding its presence across India by offering quality voice and data services at the most competitive and affordable prices.
He added that soon the company will open its first store in Gangtok which will cater to the people with full information on the services of MTS.
Besides, the first 'mobile bus', which will be launched today at Kolkata, will cover the entire West Bengal and Sikkim region, it was informed.
