IITM hosts travel and tourism exhibition

Bangalore, Jul 10 : Indian International Travel Mart 2010 today unveiled the India's Premiere Travel and Tourism Exhibition in palace grounds with over 250 participants from 15 different countries.

Talking to newspersons here, Mr Rohit Hangal, Director, Sphere Travelmedia, said the three day event from July 10 to 12 was the 47th edition and organised by ''Sphere Travel and Media Exhibitions'' in association with Karnataka Tourism.

''This is the 12th year event happening in Bangalore where opportunities are provided in Corporate sectors,'' he added.

Mr K Vishwanath Reddy, Director, Ministry of Tourism, Government of Karnataka, who was also present at the event, said ''events like this will help in boosting tourism industry, which in turn will imporve economy of India.'' Apart from the Indian States, overseas Countries like Australia, Egypt, Dubai, Indonasia, Switzerland, Greece, Sri Lanka participated in the event.
