Draft plan to accommodate Shivaji Maharaj's statue at airport: Sena

Mumbai, Jul 9 : The Shiv Sena today gave a 15-day ultimatum to the infrastructure company GVK, which has been carrying out developmental works at Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport here, to draft a plan to accommodate the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj's statue there.

Top Sena leaders unanimously arrived at this decision in a meeting held here.

The company had proposed to move the statue from the airport to Marol, to carry out development works there.

The Sena leaders also told GVK officials to replace the board saying 'GVK airport welcomes you', with the 'CST airport welcomes you'.
