July 7, 2010 : This is your one stop shop for the latest happenings in the town. The buzz. The release plans. The launches. The works. Yes, this is serious business and we will bring to you the most reliable information week after week. Have a dekko.
With 'Lamhaa', Sanjay Dutt would finally be seeing a release nine months after 'All The Best' and 'Aladin'. Hopefully, this will also break the ice as far as films starring Sanjay Dutt is concerned and pave the way for 'Knock Out, 'No Problem' and 'Chatur Singh Two Star'.
Trisha, who makes her Bollywood debut with 'Khatta Meetha' opposite Akshay Kumar is not a newbie after all. She could well be termed as a veteran, courtesy more than 35 films that she has already done, down South in the last 7-8 years.
Saurabh Usha Narang, director of 'Vaastushastra', recently passed away after a battle with stomach cancer. It means now there is an uncertainty over who would be at the helm of affairs for 'Return Gift', the film he was supposed to make with Rajeev Khandelwal.
Director Anees Bazmee would be juggling between directing two films at the same time. While he has already completed a major schedule of 'Thank You' with Akshay Kumar in Canada, he is currently directing Salman Khan for 'Ready' in Sri Lanka.
John Abraham starrer '1-800 Love' has found a new title for itself. The film, which has Abbas Tyrewala at the helm of affairs, will now be known as 'Call Me Dil'.
Even though 'Anjaani Anjaani' is deep into post production, a brand new title song featuring Ranbir Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra was shot recently. It is said to be one of the major highlights of this first ever full blown musical by producer Sajid Nadiadwala.
