NASVI to hold national conference on vendors

Kolkata, Jul 6 : The National Association of Street Vendors of India (NASVI) today announced to organise a two-day national conference on 'Integrating Vendors in Urban India: Challenges and Ways Ahead' from July seven.

Informing this, an NASVI communique said the event would be attended by policy makers, street vendor leaders, planners, administration, legal experts and academicians, who would discuss the issues faced by the street vendors.

The conference would empower the street vendors' organisations to struggle for the implementation of the national policy in West Bengal, it claimed.
