CII CEOs delegation to Malaysia and Singapore

New Delhi, Jul 5 : The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) today announced that its CEOs delegation will visit Malaysia and Singapore from July 7-9, coinciding with the tour of Commerce Minister Anand Sharma.

During the visit to Malaysia, the delegation will call on Malaysia's Minister of International Trade and Industry Y B Dato' Sri Mustapa Mohamed and interact with key industry bodies.

The bilateral trade between India and Malaysia reached 10.6 billion dollars in 2008-09.

In Singapore, the delegation will interact with senior government officials and with key industry institutions.

Mr Sharma will address a session on ''India-Singapore: Enhancing Trade and Economic Cooperation'' being organised by CII and the Ministry of Commerce on July 9 in Singapore.

The delegation comprises Mr Malvinder Singh, Group Chairman, Fortis Healthcare and Parkway Holdings; Mr A M Naik, CMD, Larsen and Toubro; Mr Srinivas Bommidala, Chairman, GMR Urban and Transport and Infrastructure Group; Mr Sanjay Budhia, MD, Patton International; Mr S Nath, Group CEO, Religare Enterprises and Mr Shreekant Somany, CMD, Somany Ceramics.

The other members of the delegation are Mr S G K Kishore, CEO, GMR Properties; Mr R V Sheshan, CEO MAS GMR Aerospace Engg; Mr Vikram Utamsingh, ED and Member of Executive Committee, KPMG India; Mr Anand Padmanabhan, CEO, IRIS Business Services; Mr P D Khedekar, MD, Tamco Switchgear and Mr Miten Mehta, Director, Financial Technologies.
