New Delhi, Jun 28 : Jasper Infotech, a leading multi-channel direct marketing platforms company and owner of India's largest group buying site, SnapDeal.com, today announced the acquisition of Bangalore based firm Grabbon.
''I'm confident that with this partnership, we'll have the flexibility and resources needed to pursue our goal of building the next-generation platform for the Group Buying space in India,'' Jasper CEO Kunal Bahl said in a statement.
''Grabbon's platform and team will be playing a key role in scaling out Jasper's plans in the group buying space in India and neighbouring countries, from a technology, merchant development and marketing perspective,'' he added.
Jasper's SnapDeal.com is India's largest site in the group buying space with a presence in 8 cities, 40,000+ strong member's community on Facebook and lakhs of users pan India.
However, the statement failed to divulge any financial details of the deal.
