AGC Networks signs agreement with NEC India

New Delhi, Jun 23 : Communications software provider AGC Networks has entered into a strategic agreement with NEC India, a leading network, communications and information technology firm.

As per the agreement, the Mumbai-based AGC Networks will distribute, install and support NEC's products like key telephone systems, PBX and IP PBX systems through its channel partners and system integrators in the country.

Speaking on the occasion, NEC India Country Head (Private Network Solutions) Ravinder Raina said, ''We are pleased to have AGC Networks as a strategic partner of NEC India for the Private Networks Solutions division. With AGC Networks, we hope to cater to the growing demand in the enterprise and government sector in India.'' NEC has an established presence in India and is aggressively targeting verticals like education, hospitality, enterprise, biometric security and other growth segments.

AGC Networks Director (Marketing) Vinod S Nair said, ''NEC, through its extensive product range, will enable AGC to address segments of the market which we hitherto did not address. We have always believed in being associated with market leaders and the NEC portfolio has a significant role to play in our next phase of growth.''
