IVF treatments were hard for Celine Dion, says hubby

London, June 3 : Canadian pop diva Celine Dion's husband-cum-manager Rene Angelil has revealed that Dion had a tough time while going through In Vitro Fertilisation (IVF) treatments.

"Everyone knows that Celine has guts and is determined. These treatments were truly hard on my wife's body. It wasn't simple at all. She was hoping for one baby and the news that we are having two is a double blessing," said Angelil.

Express.co.uk reports that Dion was delighted when she became pregnant in August last year, but her happiness was short-lived when she suffered a miscarriage. She did not give up and went in for another round of fertility treatment and also turned to acupuncture in a bid to improve her chances of conceiving.
