Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President Amit Shah arrived in Mumbai on Thursday, reportedly to chalk out a strategy for the upcoming assembly polls in Maharashtra.

Shah, who arrived in Mumbai for the first time following his elevation as the party chief, will interact with party workers and boost their morale.

The BJP leaders in Maharashtra are hopeful that Shah's visit will build up confidence amongst the party cadres.

The mood in the BJP camp is upbeat following its good show in the Lok Sabha elections and it would hope to win more seats with the Shiv Sena, its ally, in the state assembly polls.
