New Delhi/Dubai, Feb 7 : The Indian Embassy in the UAE has warned people against fraudsters, who are operating a fake website, which claims to facilitate Indian visas to foreigners.

"It has come to this mission's notice that a website with the heading of Online Indian Visa Application Form and with URL address is available on internet. This website claims to have expertise in Indian tourist, business and long term entry visa," the Embassy said in a statement.

It said the fraudsters are asking people pay service fee of 55 Pounds or 90 US Dollar or in equivalent Euros/Indian Rupees.

"This website is only charging service fees and is asking applicants to pay visa fee later when applying at the visa center. This mission has been informed that a few applicants have turned at difference BLS International centers after filling up the online visa application on this website and having made the payment for service fee. It seems that some unscrupulous elements are creating a website similar to the Online Visa Application website of Govt. of India and are deceiving people to pay service fee," the Embassy said.
