Now, 'safely' send messages while driving with Nissan's messaging assistant
Nissan has added a new feature to its upcoming cars that would allow users to send text messages while driving, without taking their eyes off the road.
The hands-free text messaging assistant is part of NissanConnect, which is free for three years and then costs about 20 dollars per year.
Users can reply to people via canned responses, or add their own custom messages. Users can also set a default reply for everyone who sends them any message.
To use the feature, users just have to give simple voice commands like 'read text', 'reply' etc and the messaging assistant reads out the options from which users can make a choice.
