A new survey has revealed that parents lose 8 days a year from their lives trying to get their children to sleep.

Parents, who spend 32 minutes each evening to put their children to sleep, said that the sessions with youngsters coming up with excuses against lights-out were more stressful than work pressures, the Daily Express reported.

The survey also found that four out of 10 parents cover a distance of 60ft a night by going back and forth to their children's room three times.
