Now, real life, 'Star Wars- style' hoverbikes that zip across skies at 100mph
An inventor has recently designed a 'Star Wars- style' hoverbike that can reach upto the speed of 100mph.
It has been claimed that the Hoverbike, which combines elements of motorcycle and helicopter engineering, can reach altitudes of up to 10,000ft, the Mirror reported.
Amateur inventor Chris Malloy stated that the futuristic flying machine, which could be manned or fully automated, was safer and easier to operate than competing designs.
Kickstarter site has already funded the project with 55,000 pounds and a prototype of the machine had its first formal public appearance at the Wings and Wheels airshow in Surrey.
