Pak JI chief calls third round of discussions between PTI, PML-N successful
Pakistan's Jamaat-i-Islami (JI) chief Sirajul Haq said that the third round of discussions between Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) and the Prime Minister's party Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) proved to be successful.
Haq said that the efforts made by PTI and their supporters need to be commended as they prevented violence during the protests.
He also said that PTI was now more practical in their demands which were a positive sign to curb the ongoing political crisis.
According to the Dawn, PTI is now considering the resignation of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif for a period of 30 days until the May 2013 general elections are verified by the court.
