At least one killed, 15 wounded in hand grenade blast in Balochistan
A hand grenade explosion in Balochistan's capital, Quetta, has left at least one dead and 15 wounded.
According to the Dawn, the Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Quetta said that armed militants hurled a hand grenade at a hotel in Prince Road area of Quetta on Monday morning.
The police officer said that the hand grenade exploded with a big bang inside the hotel.
He said that glasses of nearby shops and markets were smashed by the impact of the blast.
The incident triggered panic among people, who were taken by surprise as they heard the loud and powerful blast in the commercial hub of Quetta.
The injured were rushed to a nearby hospital in the city.
While none of the groups claimed responsibility for the attack, the police said it suspected Baloch separatist militants to be behind the attack.
