Netanyahu vows to intensify Israeli attacks in Gaza following death of minor
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has vowed that military operations in the Gaza strip would be intensified following the death of an Israeli boy due to attacks from militants in Gaza.
The boy aged four was killed in a mortar attack near the Gaza border on a southern Israeli village, reports the BBC.
Around 80 rockets were fired from Gaza on Friday, said Israeli officials.
Palestinians officials said that at least four people died on Friday as a result of Israeli airstrikes.
According to reports, three Hamas leaders were killed on Thursday in airstrikes.
At least 2,090 Palestinians and 67 Israelis have been killed in the recent weeks. However, most of the dead in the Gaza strip were civilians while the majority of the dead in Israel were soldiers.
