New Delhi, Aug. 20 Senior BJP leader Shahnawaz Hussain has expressed confidence about his party winning all ten seats in the upcoming by-elections in Bihar. ANI | 3 months ago

He said, "People have made up their minds, we will win all ten seats in the upcoming by-polls in Bihar."

Hussain was also dismissive of the Congress. He said, "The Congress must introspect as to why the country thought they weren't even capable of the position of Leader of Opposition," while referring to Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan rejection of the Congress demand to be granted the position of Leader of Opposition.

Mahajan had cited that the Congress had not won the requisite amount of seats to be granted the position of Leader of Opposition.

He also targeted Mani Shankar Aiyer, saying, "Mani Shankar Aiyar ji ke bayan ki wajah se hi aaj Congress samundar mei tair rahi hai (Because of Mani Shankar Aiyer, Congress is today floundering in the sea."

This was in response to a statement made by Aiyer earlier in the day, while addressing a Congress Women Workers' meet, where he said, "If we bring them (women) into the Congress, then Modi-ji will be forced to return to Gandhinagar tomorrow. Aur agar aapne aage samundra tak pahuncha diya to aapko bahut bahut Mubarak (If you make him reach the sea, then congratulations)"

The BJP will face a Congress-RJD-JD(U) alliance in the upcoming by-polls in Bihar, which will take place in 10 constituencies on August 21.
