Gadkari said, "The transport rules that we have in the country need to be amended".

He said, "Permits will be given online and cameras will be installed to identify the traffic rule offenders for charging fine. We will computerize the system to reduce man made errors".

He further said, "We are making corruption free and transparent transport laws which will include international standards. We have consulted transport laws of America, Brazil, Canada, Singapore, Japan and Germany. Our officials have also gone to the UK to study their laws."

"We will present the new transport laws in the next session of parliament" , he added.
