Cliff Richard, who is accused of sexually assaulting a boy at a Christian rally in 1985, has been getting support from the witnesses who claim that they have proof of his innocence.

According to the sources, the 73-year-old British pop singer, who is denying any kind of wrong doing and is willing to co-operate during the probe, was present at the Billy Graham rally at Sheffield United's Bramall Lane stadium, but the police has been contacted by "number of people" after the news broke out, who have claimed that he is innocent, the Daily Star reported.

Several supporters have said they are ready to give a statement backing him and even provide evidence to prove it.
