'Game of Thrones' author George R.R. Martin has addressed to lack of gay scenes in the book saying that his "viewpoint characters" are not gay.

The 65-year-old American novelist said that he preferred to write fiction because that was the way everyone experienced life, CNet reported.

He asserted that people saw him from their viewpoint, but not did not see what someone over here was looking at.

Martin added that one just could not add things because everyone wanted to see them as it was not a democracy because if it was a democracy, then the character of Joffrey would have died much earlier than he did in the TV series.
