The Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan has welcomed Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief, Dr Tahirul Qadri, and his supporters' decision to join the Azadi march scheduled for August 14.

According to the Dawn, Khan said in a press release that PTI has already asked all democratic forces to join the movement for strengthening democracy and getting rid of the current government.

The party's media advisor Imran Ismail said the PTI welcomed any party that wanted to join the anti-government march.

Ismail further said that Qadri's announcement that his revolution march would take place on the eve of Independence Day was not "pre-arranged" with the PTI, the report said.
